Happy Chap Goh Meh and Chinese Valentine’s Day

Thursday, February 21st, 2008 | In LimCorp Dot Net

21st of February 2008 is “Chap Goh Meh”, which is the fifteenth and final day of the lunar new year period as celebrated by all Chinese communities all over the world. Today is the fifteenth day of first month in lunar calendar, which is the occasion of the first full moon of the new year.

Firecracker Decoration
It is so pity that in this occasion, It is no much time for me to celebrate the festival event at my workplace here, No like last time at Kuching my homework, I would play firecracker and went out with friends to the Kuching city, It was really fun.

Today is also a Chinese valentine’s day in Southeast Asia. I believe this day many single women will go to the waterfront, or riverside to toss tangerines into the sea or river, in a hope that future spouse will pick it up.

However, I wish everyone happy Chap Goh Meh and Chinese valentine’s day.
