Sharp had recently presented the company new developed 3D LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) touch-screen that does not require 3D glasses while enjoying the video with stereoscopic display.

This will be the industry highest brightness screen display that capable to switch between the 2D and 3D mode. It has 500cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and it is about 3.4-inch with 480 x 854 pixels resolution for its FWVGA (Full Wide Video Graphics Array) screen display.

Microsoft has recently released the Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) platform preview for developers. They are intended to let the developers to have a test drive on the new web platform capabilities of IE9 and give the developers a first-look at what they can expect for next version of Microsoft IE9 web browser.

Microsoft is producing the next generation of web technologies. However, this is not the final stage for the IE9 and Microsoft has committed to bi-monthly updates during their further development and improvement based on users’ feedback.

The idea of this latest IE9 is to deliver interoperable HTML 5 and provide a common platform with a consistent programming model across modern browsers. The review platform allows designers to use just one set of markup and JavaScript for both web pages and applications. In the platform preview, it servers as a prototype that only has a very basic user interface for developers and web designers. IE9 can load the webpages faster because of hardware-accelerated graphics support.

DirectTV is the direct broadcast satellite service provider, which transmits digital satellite Television and audio to households in the United States. According to the news from HD Guru, DirectTV is going to be the first US Television Provider to launch its high definition, entirely 3D channel for US resident who has 3D-capable TVs.

DirectTV was blast its latest satellite into orbit and expected to be fully operation in March 2010. The new satellite will help to extend the capability to deliver high definition 3D channel.

DirectTV 3D channel will feature an assortment of movies, sports and some 3D programs. Users can enhance their movie experiences with the 3D displays, content with their 3D-capable Television and a 3D glasses to view DirectTV 3D channel.
