Causeway Bay Hong Kong restaurant that located at Crown Square, Kuching is one of the great Hong Kong style restaurant that serves various types of foods and beverages.

This time was my second time visited to this restaurant with my girl friend, there was not much changes since one year ago I visited to this restaurant during the Chinese new year but this time they offered the privilege card that applicable for anyone to enjoy 10% discount every time spending at their restaurant. This privilege card only cost RM10 one time fee.

The interior design of the restaurant, full of the Chinese new year decoration because I went there during the Chinese new year. There are limited seats inside the restaurant but the environment and lighting are comfortable to have dine there.

Cappuccino ice brended, RM5.80.

All the foods and beverages that served at this restaurant are delicious with the fair prices and I was so surprise that this time they not have any service charge and government tax including many other restaurants at Kuching.

I have been working at west Malaysia about two and half years. The most exciting time would be during the Chinese new year, because only this period I can apply two weeks long holiday and back to my hometown at Kuching, Sarawak.

This year was the third year that I back to hometown for celebrating Chinese new year with my family, girl friend and all my best friends at Kuching. Like usual, I would try almost all the local foods such like “Bak kut teh”, Laksa, “Kolo mee” and local delight at Kuching because It is very hard to find these kind of foods at my working place (KL).

During the Chinese new year, we were visiting to friends house and sometimes we just can not escape from having some alcohol such like beer, red wine and so on, especially when the house owner said “Once a year, Chinese new year, let’s try some alcohol”. Beverages photo above was taken when I was visited to my girl friend’s friend house.

One of my favorite food ~ Laksa. The best and delicious food at Kuching, Sarawak. It not only delicious but the price also cheap, where only RM3.50 per bowl with three prawns.

I really enjoy my holiday at Kuching, attended to three open houses, visited to several food stalls and restaurants with my family and my girl friend.

Chinese New Year 2009 is coming soon, many shops and restaurants have tried many ideas on their products to attract customers on spending. One of the example is Pizza Hut that offering the Golden Fortune Cheesy Crown pizza, a generous treat for a prosperous new year.

Friday was my colleague birthday, so we decided to have a try for the Golden Fortune pizza, at the pizza hut that near to our office.

We ordered to large pizza, there were included the 8 pieces of the bread stick, six glasses of soft drinks and four bowl of the mushroom soup as the appetite.

Golden Fortune Pizza is deliciously auspicious with prawns, fish, crabsticks, pineapple and a golden ring of cheesy crowns. If you are the Maybankard or American Express card members, you are enjoy the 30% discount of the Golden Fortune Cheesy Crown a’la carte pizza.

The A’la carta prices are
RM27.90 for the regular pizza.
RM35.80 for the large pizza.

Beside this Golden Fortune, we also ordered the Thai Seafood Pizza.
It has spicy tuna, crabstricks, squid, onions, spicy thai sauce and mixed herbs, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.

The Prices are
RM21.00 for the regular pizza.
RM28.90 for the large pizza.
It was really full, when six of us to finish two large pizza, with bread stick and mushroom soup.

Finally, we bought a augur fruit cake to celebrate with our colleague at the office. It was a great day for the great meal in this starting of year 2009.

Meals station that located in the ground floor at Wisma UOA II, is a small restaurant provides many special Malay styles of foods and beverages. At morning; lunch time and tea break hours, this restaurant is crowded with people. The price of food at this restaurant is considered average as other restaurant.

I had been working at Wisma UOA around three months, and last week was my first time had my lunch at this restaurant before our office moved to Ampang park. This restaurant is selling various of Malay style of foods, such like Nasi lemak, curry chicken, Asam laksa, Mee rebus and so on.

That time me, and all my colleagues were attended at this restaurant for our lunch. This was the free meal that paid by company, as a farewell lunch for one of our colleague had been resigned and decided to leave our company. Due to variety of restaurants to choice and we had went through many of those restaurants such like McDonalds’, KFC, Nando’s, Kenny Rogers. So lastly we decided to have a try at Meals station restaurant that just located below our old office at UOA II.

Plus another plate of curry chicken, that cost about RM8.50, before adding the tax and services charges.

A fried chicken wing in a small food basket as add on meal. We ordered 3 ~ 4 baskets of this chicken wing side order, and each basket cost RM4.50.

I was ordered the iced chocolate favor of drink that cost RM3.50. So full after finished the Curry chicken nasi lemak and few pieces of chicken wings. The foods were taste goods at this restaurant and the price were considered standard as normal air-conditional restaurant. After our office moved to Ampang park, there is no more variety of food choice among that area, unless we going to the suria KLCC.
