Microsoft announces the Wireless Display Adapter

Microsoft has recently announced the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter, which connects to an HDTV, monitor or projector easily and it will let the users to share content from any Miracast-enabled device including PCs and tablets that running on Windows 8.1 operating system. With the Wireless Display Adapter, users do not worry about getting everyone to huddle around a device, because all the content along with the audio can be easily shared on the big screen.

It is simple to operate by plug the USB end and HDMI end of the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter into an HDTV, monitor or projector. Then select the right input on the television, pair it with the laptop, tablet or smartphone and users will be ready to go. It is also depending on the device, users can have it mirror exactly what is being shown on the screen of the device or extend its screen.

It uses the Miracast technology, so there is not limited to certain apps or content streaming. It is also the ideal solutions for conference room and not just for home entertainment use only.
