Square Inc., the mobile payments company based in San Francisco, is now partnering with the iPhone maker to bring a new Point-of-Sale (POS) system to the market. The device is called as Square Stand.

The Square Stand allows users to run their business from their iPad and turn their iPad into a credit-card terminal as well as full POS system that connect to Square’s Register app and external devices such as receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawer and payment card reader.

This is the intuitive tool that lets the users and their employees focus on managing their business without any troublesome setup. Users can also charge their iPad on the stand and secure both to the counter; the integrated card reader keeps information secure from swipe to payment.

Besides these, the users can install the app to see what and when the items their selling, compare sales by month, week, day, hour or organize sales report by item. Users can also create custom reports, print X and Z reports then track the staff sales from the Square dashboard.

The Square Stand that works with iPad 2 and 3 (30-pin connector) will cost $299 and schedule to be shipped on 8th July 2013 onward.
