Elgato releases Thunderbolt Drive+ SSD

Elgato, the company that offers a complete range of solutions to watch and record TV and HDTV, has released its new portable Thunderbolt Drive+ Solid-State Drive. The drives are dramatically outperforming other portable drives in the market.

It comes with transfer speeds up to 420Mbps and it is compatible with Windows and Macbook with OS X 10.6.8 or above. The Thunderbolt Drive+ is deigned to draw power directly from a single Thunderbolt or USB port without the need of extra cable for power supply.

It features both the most advanced and the most common connectivity standards to ensure users can always access to their files and transfer their data in shorten time. The Thunderbolt Drive+ is also equipped with Plextor True Speed technology, server-grade controller chips for better performance and also the high quality flash chips, custom firmware to provide the lowest average Annualized Failure Rate (AFR) in the industry.

Elgato Thunderbolt Drive+ can operated in silent mode without the noisy fan and also the valuable data is always protected by a rock-solid metal enclosure to prevent dust particle to reach the inside of the drive as well as avoid from splashes of liquid to harm the device.
