Cambridge Audio introduces DacMagic XS

Cambridge Audio, the audio device manufacturer, has recently introduced the DacMagic XS, which is a small-sized Digital to Analog Converter. The 24-bit converter can deliver 150mW of power to headphones, boosting the bass and volume for listeners.

The device features asynchronous USB audio clocking, support both USB Class 1 and Class 2 connections. The DacMagic XS can be used to play everything from MP3 to the highest quality 24-bit 192KHz studio master recordings from the computer.

It can remove unwanted noise, jitter and distortion as well for better performance. When running in Class 2 mode, DacMagic XS can also prevent unwanted interference and re-sampling, giving the best possible quality audio output.

There is not driver is required for similar performance in Max OS X. The DacMagic XS is now available from Cambridge Audio for $189.
