  Toshiba TransferJet adapter for Smartphone

Toshiba Corporation has recently announced an adapter that can support the TransferJet close to wireless transfer technology and it is equipped with an UB 2.0 interface.

It comes in two models, which are Micro-B-type connector that is often used for smartphones and the Type A connector that is commonly used for personal computers. The adapter will be available at electronics retail stores in Japan from 20th December 2013.

Toshiba also expects that the adapter to be used for exchanging image and video files between the smartphone and personal computer; and between two smartphones.

The adapter utilizes the TransferJet technology with a center frequency of 4.48GHz and capable to transfer data wirelessly over a range of up to 3cm. Its maximum transfer rate is 560Mbps. Thee Micro-B-type and Type A models will be available for the price range from $38 to $48.

Panono, the company that develops advanced digital cameras, has released its record-breaking 108 megapixel throwable panoramic ball camera with 36 cameras that can be triggered at the same time in the air to deliver 360 X 360 degrees fully spherical panoramic images.

The camera modules with better optics and higher resolution that can boost the camera from 72 to 108 megapixels and it is grapefruit-sized, ball-shaped camera can capture everything in every direction. There is a free Panono App that allows users to view the panoramic images from their smartphone.

Avegant has recently introduced its new Glyph headset that integrates a brilliant, vivid video display and premium audio experience in a unique flip-down form factor. This new technology will also be showcased at CES 2014 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10, 2014.
