Via introduces new ARTiGO A1200 mini PC

Via Technologies Inc., one of the World’s largest independent manufacturers of motherboard chipsets that based in Taiwanese, has recently introduced its new ARTiGO A1200 ultra-slim and fan-less mini PC.

It is powered by 1.0GHz Via Eden X2 dual-core processor and supports up to 4GB of DDR3 1066 SODIMM RAM. Via ARTiGO A1200 can be operated in quiet manner and its dust-proof interface is only 3cm high.

It comes with innovative buckled-blade thermal fin on heat-sink design and it supports High-Definition, MPEG-2, DivX, WMV9, VC1 and H.264 video decoding hardware acceleration. It has plenty of Input/ Output ports such as HDMI and VGA display port with dual independent display support; four USB 2.0 ports; two GigaLan; two COM; and one CFast socket.

This Mini PC supports for both Microsoft Windows 7 and Linux operating systems. Besides these, the Via’s utility provides an application programming interface that makes it easy for system to control GPIO, SMBus, Watchdog Timer, LCD and control hardware monitor, flash BIOS and scheduling auto power on.
