Sprint introduces its new 3G and 4G USB Modem
Sprint has just introduced its new 3G/ 4G Plug-in-Connect USB modem. It does not require any additional software for the setup and users just need to simply plug the modem into a Windows, Linux and Mac computer to get data access on Sprint’s 3G/ 4G network.

It is not running on LTE network but Sprint 4G Wimax network, which is a communication technology for wirelessly delivering the high-speed Internet service to large geographical areas. Wimax can surpass the 30 meters wireless range and offering a metropolitan area network with a signal radius about 50KM wide range.
The modem can provide turn-by-turn GPS navigation with the Sprint Navigation software installed. Besides these, the modem also offers usage-based plans to avoid the need of contracts and it is a best solution for those users, who do not use the Internet heavily.
The modem is free on 2-years data plan contract, after $50 mail-in rebate. The modem is worth $249 for those users that do not want to tie with the 2-year contract.
