Panasonic launches ELUGA, the waterproof Smartphone

Panasonic has recently launched its new ELUGA smartphone in Europe. ELUGA smartphone is an ultra-slim, about 103 grams in weight with high specification and waterproof smartphone for the style conscious. It has 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 capacitive OLED QHD screen display.

The ELUGA is powered by Android 2.3.5 operating system with 1GHz duel-core processor on board. It has largest screen ratio that comprising 66% of the phone’s body with super-thin frame and also it has built-in 8 megapixel auto-focus camera with 8GB of integrated memory.

It has ultra-slim D shaped design with a slender 123 x 64 x 7.8mm frame. It is defined as international standard IP57 waterproof smartphone that can prevent the phone from damage when dropped into the water up to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes and also dustproofing for 75 micrometers or less in diameter.

It has built-in near-field communication (NFC) technology, which means the phone is ready for no touch interactions, including contactless payments. Its pre-installed VieraRemote app allows users to turn their phone into remote control for other electronic devices in the home such as Viera TV, DIGA Blu-ray player/ recorder, home theater system or digital still camera.
