The single focal-length lens has a 150mm equivalent field of view, a 2.7 inches long, featuring metallic construction and a 19.7oz of light weight body. It is specially designed for studio, stage, portrait photography as well as for High-Definition film-making.

The lens is built from ten individual lens elements, which divided into nine groups, including a 50mm diameter glass front lens, three ED lenses and 2HR lenses. Its nine blade aperture unit can produce beautiful circular defocusing.

Besides these, the lens elements also feature Olympus’s ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical) coating technology, and its MSC (Movie and Still Compatible) AF drive assures fast and nearly silent focusing. It can close focusing down to 29.5 inches. The M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm f1.8 will be available in this summer with estimated price of $900 and the metal lens hood and lens cap are available as optical accessories.
