LG unveils new 55-inch OLED TV

LG has recently unveiled its new 55-inch OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) Television, which was first introduced at CES 2012. This new OLED TV is the World’s largest, slimmest and most expensive OLED TV in the market.

This new OLED TV with cinema 3D smart TV, cinema screen design, freeview HD and Wi-Fi connectivity is featuring four-color pixel technology and color refiner that work together to offer vibrant, natural and perfect Full 1080p High-Definition viewing in 2D and 3D.

LG also claims that the new OLED TV embedded with its WRGB technology that adds a white sub-pixel to the color output and enhancements on their color refiner algorithm to ensure a distortion-free, better visual experience while viewing the movies under ambient light condition and/ or in various viewing angle.

The magic remote with built-in Wi-Fi capabilities is also included in the package. It takes voice control and 3D depth control wireless within the room. Besides these, the OLED TV has four HDMI ports for different connectivity such as Blu-ray player, home cinema system, games console and others to be connected at the same time.

It has an USB 2.0 port, which is convenient for users to connect their digital cameras, portable media players or other device to the TV for display. Its Dual Play technology supports for two game players to view individual full-screen action while wearing special glasses. LG 55-inch OLED TV will be available soon for about 8,000 Euros or approximately $10,000.
