Fujifilm introduces pocket-sized XF1 camera

Fujifilm, a Japanese multinational photography and imaging company based in Japan, has expanding its retro-styled X-Series digital cameras with new XF1. XF1 is the pocket-sized digital camera that comes with a 1.8 Fujinon lens, 3-inch 460K dot of clear LCD display for photos preview and encased in an aluminum casing with leatherette.

The new Fujifilm XF1 camera is compact in size and it only measures 107.9 x 61.5 x 33mm. It is packed 12-megapixel 2/3-inch EXR-CMOS sensor for stunning photos shooting. It also supports for 4X optical zoom and there is an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) mechanism that capable to shift one group of four lens elements to reduce blur.

Fujifilm XF1 can be full manual controlled and there is an E-Fn button that convenient the users to immediate access to their most-used controls and a twisting mechanism around the lens for both power-on and zoom actions. Its EXR processor helps to achieve fast focus speed in any situations and the camera has a start-up time of 550 milliseconds, which is less than 1 second.

The XF1 can capture images in RAW and Jpeg formats. It capable to record full HD movie at 1080p and 30 frames per second. It features a popup flash as well. The Fujifilm XF1 will be available in this coming October 2012 for $500 USD.
