BVM-E series consists of both BVM-E170 (16.5-inch) and BVM-E250 (24.5-inch) monitors. Both monitors come with Sony’s Super Top Emission OLED technology to improve display performance and produce superb picture quality.

Sony’s Super Top Emission technology is a micro-cavity structure that uses an optical resonance effect to enhance the color purity and improve light-emission efficiency; and the incorporated color filters of each RGB to reduce ambient light reflection.

Both monitors have dedicated 12-bit output accuracy digital signal processing engine, which delivers accurate color reproduction, precision imaging and quality picture consistency. Besides these, the monitors provide multi-format video signal processing up to 1920/ 1080/ 60P using the dual-link HD-SDI, SDI, analog or DVI-D inputs.

The BVM-E250 will be released in Japan in May 2011 for $30,000 whereas the BVM-E170 will be released in July 2011 for $15,000.
