The SE-208BW combines an external Optical Disk Drive (ODD) with wireless connectivity for CD/ DVD playback and writing capability. It enables smartphone, tablet and PC users to wireless stream and playback the CDs/ DVDs content on their devices and without any physical cable attached while they listen to music or watch the movies around the house.

The SE-208BW measures 140 x 21.5 x 200mm and it comes with wireless Access Point (AP) and repeater functions, which help to amplify the Wi-Fi signals and widen the connectivity range for the entire home. So it eliminates the problem of weak signal strength when far away connecting to the hub.

The media hub can also be served as smart backup solutions for data and content. It can easily write data such as documents, video, picture files or contacts onto the CDs/ DVDs without connect to the PC/ computer. It supports dynamic DNS, which enables the drive to work as a private server and users can simple connect it with an external hard disk drive and USB memory drive with Internet LAN cable to make it becomes a personal Cloud Server.

It is an eco-friendly product with low-power consumption and lead-free soldering technology. The SE-208BW will be available in early 2012.
