Razer, a leading high-end precision gaming brand, has brought a great news for gamers with its new released Razer Tiamat gaming headset, which is also the World’s first discrete 7.1 surround sound and 2.2 stereo gaming headsets.

This new gaming headset lets the users enjoy the great sound with powerful bass as well as immersive experience when playing games. It was built to deliver the clear and accurate positional audio with three-dimensional clarity.

It has total of 10 discrete drivers, which built into both circumaural ear cups to give the users better surround sound. The 10 drivers support 7 surround sound channels including the sub-woofer (2 for center, 1 each for left and right, 2 for the sub-woofer). All drivers capable to produce a true surround sound at all the time no matter in playing games or listening to the music.

Besides these, users can adjust the audio on a sleek control unit, fine-tune the volume, position, bass as well as toggle between the headset’s 7.1 surround sound mode and external speakers once they hooked up to the unit. It gives the users to have new level of listening experience.

Razer Tiamat 7.1 will be available worldwide in Q4 2011 with the suggested retail price of $179.99.
