OnLive introduces wireless universal gamepad

OnLive, the cloud computing gaming-on-demand and online games provider, has introduced its new universal gamepad that works on nearly every platform including the Macs, PCs and mobile devices. It can even directly control the streaming game service from the MicroConsole.

It is easy to setup. Users just need to connect the MicroConsole TV adapter to their Television and wired broadband then the games are delivered over the Internet, so users can just play the available games instantly.

All the games are stored on OnLive data centers and not on the local hard disk, so there is no need to buy any additional hard disk for games storage. Once the Internet connection is on, users can connect to the OnLive server and start the game in about 15 seconds.

The MicroConsole TV adapter capable to connect up to four controllers simulteneously and it comes with two USB ports for PC controllers, keyboards and mice. Bluetooth is also available for voice chat, surround sound over the HDMI and optical audio.

The OnLive wireless controller has low-fatigue design and precision control D-pad with roll action. It comes with direct action buttons for live media, one-touch brag clip for video recording. Also, the controller is powered by two AA batteries and estimated for 36 hours on playtime.

In the box, there are included an USB play and charge cable (2 meters); Ethernet cable, (1.6 meters), HDMI cable (1.8 meters) and optional cables include triple RCA YPbPr (1.8 meters) and double RCA Left/ Right (1.8 meters).

Besides these, the gamepad also rolled out the Facebook integration that allows users to post their game scores, statuses on their Facebook’s walls.
