Netgear announces four new Gigabit-capable wireless routers

Netgear, the provider of innovative networking solutions for small businesses and homes, has announced four new high-performance and Gigabit-enabled wireless routers at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011.

The N300 (WNXR2000) Wireless with Powerline AV router; N600 (DGND3700) and N750 (WNDR4000) Dual-Band Gigabit routers; and N600 all-in-one home gateway (WNDR3800) Gigabit router – premium edition. These four routers play the important roles to expand the possibilities and unleash the ultimate office and home network by enable a variety of innovative new applications and features.

Wireless router is a necessary device for every household, it not only uses for share a broadband connection but also become an important tool to deliver new social, entertainment and mobile communication in our daily live. With the new wireless routers from Netgear, users can build their home network with better performance, security and more reliable connectivity among the devices.

Netgear N300 Wireless Router with Powerline AV is a new connectivity solution that delivers the convenience of wireless and reliability of a wired powerline and Ethernet connection. It comes with 200MB per second powerline integrated into the router’s power supply and acts as the hub of the digital home, distributing broadband over powerline to Televisions and other devices with Ethernet ports or over the wireless to cover the entire home environment.

Netgear N600 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit ADSL modem router provides a function rich solution to consolidate multiple network devices in home. It allows connectivity to the Internet with a built-in ADSL modem or a Gigabit Ethernet port for high-speed cable and it supports multiple broadband technologies with a single gateway.

Netgear N600 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit – Premium Edition has added few more features,
1. ReadyShare Remote that allows users to access the files and folders on a USB external storage device attached to the router from Mac, computer, Smartphone or tablet over the Internet.
2. ReadyShare Printer for connecting a printer to the USB port and access it wirelessly through the network.
3. Quick Start, Steady Stream HD allows users to stream HD video from files in the ReadyShare USB disk with less delay at startup.
4. Clear Channel Selector helps to automatically and dynamically avoid busy Wi-Fi channels for clear and fast wireless connections.

The N300 Wireless Router with Powerline AV router will be available in January 2011 for $199.99. N600 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit ADSL Modem router and the Premium Edition will be available in Q2 2011 for $199.99 and $179.99 respectively. Also for the N750 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router will be available in Q1 2011 for $179.99.
