Iiyama releases new VA-based desktop LCDs

Iiyama Corporation, the manufacturer of high-end computer monitors and Televisions in Japan, has recently released its new monitors with Vertical Alignment (VA) LCD technology. Both 24-inch (XB2472HD-B) and the 27-inch (X2775HDS-B) monitors support for 178 degree angle of adjustment for comfortable viewing.

Both monitors are operated with LED backlight and come with a 3,000:1 contrast ratio; a 300cd/ m2 brightness for 24-inch and 250cd/ m2 brightness for the 27-inch monitors. They are equipped with ECO mode, which can reduce the power usage up to 43% compare to run on the normal mode.

The 24-inch monitor has HDMI, DVI and VGA. It capable to display sharp and clear image on the screen and users can choose the best picture quality depending on the mode display for movies and games.

It also equipped with a three-stage circuit, which improves the response rate up to 8ms, so it cable to display high quality and vivid image display when watching the movies. The 27-inch comes with the same features as the 24-inch monitors with additional four-port USB hub.

Both 24-inch and 27-inch monitors will be selling on 24,800 yen ($323) and 34,800 yen ($453) respectively.
