HTC announces its first CDMA Android World Phone

HTC Corp., a Taiwan-based manufacturer of smartphones, has announced its new HTC Merge smartphone on last Friday. HTC Merge will be the company first CDMA Android World Phone and it will be available in North American in spring 2011.

The HTC Merge is a powerful and feature-rich smartphone that running on Google Android 2.2 platform. It has a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard for easy typing and features a 3.8-inch touch-screen display. It also has a 5-megapixel camera for quality photo taking and capable to capture High-Definition 720p video.

HTC Merge smartphone combines both HTC Sense and the functionality of Android to deliver more reliable mobile experience to the users, who reply on their phone to play games, watch video, read articles and surf the web at most of the time. It keeps the users stay with Flickr, Facebook and Twitter updates through its HTC FriendStream.

It supports for 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, so users can seamlessly online and keep in touch with their friends and family at all the time. HTC Merge smartphone comes with integrated GPS system and supports 3G roaming. Beside these, the smartphone has also integrated with Exchange ActiveSync, which is a XML-based protocol for synchronization of email, contacts, calendar, tasks and note from multiple sources.
