HP introduces new Multi-touch Slate 2 Tablet PC

HP has recently introduced its new Multi-touch Slate 2 Tablet PC for business users. This new Slate 2 Tablet comes with expanded touch capability, enhanced multitasking performance with improved security protection and added flexibility for education, government and mobile business users.

HP Slate 2 tablet has full-featured Microsoft Windows environment with flexibility to create, edit, view content on the screen on the go. This 8.9-inch capacitive multi-touch Slate 2 tablet has only 1.5 pound in weight, which maximize the portability and comfortable use while on the road, conference room or at the coffee shop.

HP Slate 2 tablet is powered by Intel Atom Z670 processor with mSATA SSM technology. It supports for touch and pen input with included new Swype keyboard. The Swype applet has enhanced the touch experience with better and efficient work with the tablet across the screen keyboard. This tablet has improved battery life with up to six hours of continuous use.

Besides these, it has built-in front-facing VGA webcam for video conferencing; a 3-megapixel rear camera for image capture and video recording. Its SRS Premium Sound system provides clear and optimized audio for multimedia application and the SD card slot allows users to expand the storage and sharing capabilities.

The HP Slate 2 Tablet PC will be available later in this month for $699.
