D-Link introduces PowerLine 802.11n Wireless Router

D-Link Corp., the manufacturer of networking solutions for both consumer and business markets, has recently announced its new Wireless-N DHP-1320 PowerLine Router. It offers networking solution for both wired and wireless in home network.

This Hybrid Wireless-N PowerLine Router is IPv6-ready and merges PowerLine 200Mbps technology with Ethernet ports that providing the end users with two connectivity options to extend their home network coverage and high bandwidth to access applications such as HD video, multimedia, VoIP calls, real-time chatting and gaming.

DHP-1320 can extend the network connectivity to various locations, which include basement, upstairs bedrooms or even the garden within the house area. It has built-in Atheros Hy-Fi technology to expand coverage, improves performance and simplifies network setup and management; and built-in QoS Engine to enhance Internet experience.

It provides IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) support that allows router to perform end-to-end connectivity between personal computers and other IPv6-enabled devices to provide a better users experience in voice and video communications. IPv6 exchanges data across a packet-switched inter-network.

DHP-1320 has three 10/ 100Mbps Fast Ethernet Ports and supports up to 200Mbps data transmission. In term of security, it supports 128-bit AES Encryption and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) for simple Wireless Network Configuration.

DHP-1320 is now available with a retail price of $129.99.
