Acer new Revo RL100 Media Center

Acer has recently announced the availability of its Revo RL100 media center in the United States. Revo RL100 was first announced around six month ago and now is shipping to the United States. It comes with a complete wireless touchpad/ keyboard combo unit to enter text and supports for gesture-based control.

Revo RL100 is powered by 1.3GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K325 dual-core processor and it features Nvidia Ion graphics display that capable to playback full 1080p High-Definition video. There have built-in 4GB of RAM; 750GB of hard disk drive; a multi-card reader; as well as 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity. It has three USB ports and an HDMI output interface that allows users to connect to the HDTV and enjoy the Dolby home theater V3 audio.

The Revo RL100 measures 1 x 11.8 x 7.09-inch and about 2.65 pound of weight. It can put to stand upright with a stand support or lay flat, which is flexible to put beside or below the Television set and saving the space for other stuffs.

It supports clear.fi, which is the Acer’s proprietary technology to connect all Acer computers, tablets and phones for file sharing, which is also DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compatible for media sharing with other brands of devices.

Revo RL100 is available in two models, one with included Blu-ray and one without. The prices are $569.99 for the Blu-ray model and $499.99 for the model without Blu-ray.
