ZOTAC International Limited, the Hong Kong based computer hardware company and the world’s largest manufacturer of graphics cards, motherboards, mini-PCs, has just announced the new ZOTAX ZBOX Blu-ray series mini-PCs, which will be the world’s first mini-PCs with an integrated Blu-ray drive in a slim and stylish design.

Both the ZBOX HD-ID33 and HD-ID34 mini-PCs combine a powerful next-generation Nvidia Ion graphics processor (16 unified shaders) with an energy-efficient 1.8GHz Atom D525 dual-core processor. The premium integrated features and class-leading expansion capabilities make it possible for both mini-PCs to deliver 1080p high-definition video playback online and offline.

ZOTAC ZBOX Blu-ray series is a multimedia hub for all the entertainment needs. It allows users to view Blu-ray movies, streaming Internet video, download videos, listen music, Internet radio, browse the web, play game and manage their social networking profile in a single device.

The hardware-accelerated Adobe Flash video support ensures the smooth and high-definition video playback without a hitch. The new dual-core Intel Atom D525 processor not only consumes minimal amount of power segment, it also boosts the performance with faster processing speeds.

Intel HyperThreading technology allows the ZOTAC ZBOX Blu-ray series to process up to maximum four threads for fast and superior responsiveness in the daily tasks. The built-in slot-load Blu-ray drive delivers 4x Blu-ray, 8x DVD and 24x CD speeds for video playback and ability to write data to DVD and CD discs with the ZOTAC ZBOX Blu-ray series.

ZOTAC ZBOX Blu-ray series has two USB 3.0 ports for connection to external storage, video and hardware peripherals at 10-times the speeds compare to the standard USB 2.0. It also has one mini-PCI Express slot, two 200-pin DDR2 SO-DIMM slots and a 2.5-inch hard drive bay. The integrated dual-stream Wi-Fi 802.11n enables wireless connectivity from the mini-PCs and possible to transfer data up to 300MB per second.
