Western Digital had previously released its Western Digital WD Live HD Media Player few months back, and now some sources have revealed the new WD (Western Digital) Live Hub Media Center STB before the official announcement from the company.

The new WD TV Live Hub Media Center is a High-Definition network media player that comes with a built-in 2.5-inch hard disk drive and equipped with Gigabit Ethernet functionality that allows users download the data via network and watch the streamed movie directly from the Internet.

The TV Live Hub comes with 1TB of the storage capacity and supports 1080p playback over HDMI 1.4 interface. It has component and composite video out; optical S/PDIF and all the Internet connectivity for the users to watch the video clips from the service providers such as Netflix, Blockbuster, Pandora, YouTube and Facebook.

Users can drag and drop the content from a computer to the built-in hard disk drive and navigate or playback the media content from the hard disk drive; USB storage devices or even directly from the Internet to a Television via the HDMI Interface.
