TeamViewer app enables iPhone to access & control Macs, PCs

TeamViewer GmbH, a Germany-based company, has launched an iPhone application – TeamViewer, which allows iPhone and iPod Touch to access remote computers; desktop sharing and file transfer between computer and  iPhone handset from everywhere.

This application operates with both Microsoft Windows and Mac operating system. It allows users to give spontaneous support and permanent access to both Macs and computers from time to time without restriction even if the computers are protected by firewall and NAT (Network Address Translation) proxy.

Access to Macs and Windows Machines
Users can access the desktop interface through Internet connection such like Wi-Fi, 3G or EDGE. TeamViewer supports for multi-touch gestures, for example, left click, right click, drag and drop, scroll wheel, zoom, change monitor and so on. A complete keyboard is provided and included special keys such like Ctrl, Alt, Windows key.

TeamViewer automatically adjusts the screen resolution of the remote computer. It can reboot the remote computer and reconnect back. It is trouble-free to use behind the computer’s firewall and proxy server.

In term of the security, this application uses highest security standard of 256 Bit AES Session Encoding and 1024 Bit RSA Key Exchange methods during the communication with remote Mac or computer.

TeamWiewer Application Settings
TeamViewer can be easily setup by,
1. Install and start the TeamViewer from App Store.
2. Get the setup file. Install and start TeamViewer on the Mac or PC.
3. Enter the Mac’s or PC’s ID and password directly in the TeamViewer interface on your iPhone or iPod Touch in order to establish the connection.
