During the Consumer Electronics Show begin on 7th January 2010, Sony has introduced its seven-inch touch screen Dash, which is a “Personal Internet Viewer” device. It is another new multi-purpose connected device that offering the functionality of a tablet and an alarm clock.

The touch screen user interface allows users to set effects, rotate photos, zoom and play/ pause photo slide shows. It supports different set of customization for multiple user profiles and channels, several users can create and maintain their own profile and customized view of the Internet.

It provides users an fast and instant access to more than one thousand free Internet applications that including the news, weather, traffic, Internet radio, sports, calendars, movies, social networking, music through the Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity.
