Microsoft new LifeCam Studio with incredible 1080p HD sensor

Microsoft Corp., on September 13rd 2010, introduced its new LifeCam Studio, which is the perfect High-Definition (HD) video calling companion for the Windows Live Messenger 2011. It features a true 1080p sensor and supports HD video calling in a 16:9 wide-screen format.

Microsoft LifeCam Studio is an upgraded version of the LifeCam Cinema HD with more features and high screen resolution, it is about twice as large as the 720p High-Definition sensors on the market. It capable to deliver sharpness and image quality in video calls and its native 1080p sensor lets the users experience the video calls in any lighting condition.

When Microsoft LifeCam Studio works together with Windows Live Messenger, users can have more meaningful conversations over the Internet by sharing photos, playing games, instant messaging and perform HD video chatting. The wide-screen display makes users to have more vivid and clear image during their video calls.

This new LifeCam Studio features a tripod thread, which is good for recording long video captures from any angles. For example, a 360 degree view range for the entire room without the need to turn the whole laptop around. It features premium optics with enhanced Auto Focus to keep object in focus and its high-precision glass element lens for clarity video calls.

Besides these, LifeCam Studio is also equipped with first class technology. The TrueColor technology helps to deliver bright and colorful video under any lighting condition; the ClearFrame technology helps to keep video smooth and clear even under low light environment.

LifeCam Studio will be available soon in late September 2010 for the retail price of $99.95. Upon purchase of the device, it only supports VGA resolution, in order to experience the 1080p High Definition video calls, users need to have commercial video software (Not included), Intel Quad Core 3.0GHz and 4GB RAM.
