Meizu is going to launch M9 smartphone

Meizu Technology Co. Ltd., a multimedia communications research and development company that based in China, has recently revealed the final specifications and up-to-date photos for its upcoming M9 smartphone.

Meizu M9 is confirmed with 3.5-inch of capacitive touch-screen and 960 x 640 resolution display. It is equipped with 1GHz Samsung S5PC110 architecture based on ARM Cortex-A8 processor, which offers high-performance solution with power-efficiency and it has the ability to scale processing speed from 600MHz to more than 1GHz.

The smartphone has Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR and supports for GSM, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA, WAPI (Chinese WLAN Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure standard) and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. The smartphone also has built-in GPS / Advanced-GPS, gravity sensing, ambient light sensors, infrared distance sensors and touch sensors.

Its built-in 500-megapixel CMOS camera supports for 720 High-Definition recording with auto-focus, touch-to-focus and digital zoom. The Mini USB 2.0 port for data transfer and 3.5mm stereo headphone jack port is also included. The Meizu M9 has a memory card slot that supports for MicroSD or MicroSDHC, users can expand the memory up to 32GB.

1. 1370mAh lithium-polymer battery is included.
2. Measures 59.8 x 113.0 x 11.2 mm, 123 grams.
3. Supports JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF picture formats.
4. Supports Avi, MP4, 3GP, Mov, Mkv, Flv video formats.
5. Supports Flac, Ape, MP3, OGG, AMR, AAC audio formats.
6. Data cable, cleaning cloth, 8GB/ 16GB MicroSDHC card are included.

Meizu M9 is expected to launch on 25th December 2010 with the price of $375 for the 8GB model and $405 for the 16GB model.
