Lenovo Skylight Smartbook lights up your web

On 5th January 2010, Lenovo had announced its latest Lenovo Skylight smartbook, which is the industry first ARM-based processor smartbook device that equipped with a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon as the chipset platform.

Skylight is a compact and portable smartbook that less than two lbs., as thin as a smartphone and can be fit in any bag, backpack or purse easily.

It comes with stylish design, full size keyboard for easy typing, 10-inch high definition screen display, a web-optimized interface and full Internet and media access that enabled users to enjoy the full web and rich media wherever they go. It is absolutely an intelligent design combine with its advanced technology.

Skylight offers a ten hours of active battery life just like a cell phone battery life. It also has the “Always-on” feature so users no need waiting for boot up or shut down. It has a optimized Linux-Based interface that allows users to direct access to services, social networks such like Facebook, YouTube and so on. Besides these, this smartbook has 20GB of built-in storage capacity.

In term of connectivity, Skylight can use either AT&T supplied 3G or Wi-Fi to get connected to the Internet. If users have qualified AT&T DataConnect plan, they can get 3G data from more than 20,000 hot spots within the US country. It is fast and easy web access on the go.

Lenovo Skylight is being introduced in two new vibrant colors, which are glossy lotus blue and earth red models. Lenovo plans to ship this smartbook to US in this coming April for $499.
