Lenovo rolls out IdeaCentre A700, B305 and Q150 computers

Lenovo, the fourth largest vendor of personal computers in the world, has rolls out its IdeaCentre A700, B305 all-in-one desktop computers and Q150 nettop computer on 11st May 2010.

Both A700 and B305 desktop computers are emphasis on the design and packed in an aluminum casing. They have different level of specifications. Both of them have 5-in-1 card readers and they are expected to be available in June with the entry price of $999 for A700 and $699 for B305.

The A700 is best ideal for individuals and families while it has enhanced home entertainment system with JBL speakers, Dolby sound technology, DirectX 11 graphics and HDMI in/ out interface to connect from HD devices or direct stream videos to HD Television.

A700 has 23-inch of full HD wide touch-screen display with 1080 pixels resolution. It is the first computer to use a Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) touch screen panel, which produces high touch resolution, image clarity and extra-responsive for the finger touch on the screen. The technology is based on sending acoustic waves across a clear glass panel with a series of transducers and reflectors.

A700 is equipped with a quad-core, 1.73GHz mobile Core i7-820QM and it can be upgraded to maximum Core i70829QM 3.06GHz processor as required. It has built-in Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g and a side-mounted Blu-ray combo drive. The memory can be upgraded to maximum 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 2TB of storage capacity.

B305 is good for gaming community with the options of an AMD Athlon II X4 Quad-Core processor and optional DirectX 11 graphics. Gamers can play the high-end computer games smoothly. It comes with a 21.5-inch of full HD 1920 x 1080 wide-screen display. It has built-in TV tuner and side-mounted DVD-RW drive. It is possible to upgrade the memory up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 1TB of storage capacity.

For the IdeaCentre Q150 nettop, it has few Intel CPU choice as well as the option for a remote control with a keyboard and trackball media remote control. Users can prefer the Intel Atom single-core D410 or the dual-core D510 upon purchase. They can also decide between the Intel GMA 3150 graphics or NVIDIA GeForce 9400M-based Ion chipset.

There is not optical drive provided for this unit of nettop. It has internal 512MB of dedicated memory and runs on Windows 7 Home operating system. It is also expected to be available in June with the price of $299.
