Garmin-Asus, a co-branded strategic alliance of Garmin Ltd. and ASUS Computer Inc., have recently together introduced their latest co-branded smartphone called as Garmin-Asus A10, which is a touch-screen smartphone powered by Android Operating System. It is specially designed for pedestrian navigation for Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. It is expected to hit the Europe and Asia-Pacific market in mid-year of 2010.

Garmin-Asus A10 has bright 3.2-inch of HVGA (Half Video Graphics Array) touch-screen display and it is best for the frequent travelers because the handset has plenty of pre-loaded city maps, electronic compass, an optimized GPS capabilities, turn-by-turn voice navigation and long-lasting 1500mAh battery to ensure the users to have the best travel experience with this smartphone.

The Garmin-Asus A10 comes with a powered audio that capable to magnify the volume of the device’s voice commands. It has built-in 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and automatically geo-tags images with location reference. The cityXplorer maps are also supported by Garmin-Asus A10 that allows users to plan and use routes for the public transit such like bus, rail systems and so on.

Additionally, the smartphone include a powerful WebKit browser with multi-touch capability and compatible with Microsoft Exchange server to synchronize contacts, calendar and email wirelessly. Any of the Android applications that include location based content can utilize the enhanced GPS capability offered by this smartphone.
