Denon introduces two universal 3D Blu-ray Players

Denon Electronics, the home entertainment components and technology manufacturer, has announced the company is expanding its advanced universal Blu-ray lineup with additional two new 3D-ready players, which are both BDP-1611UD and BDP-2011UDCI models.

Denon’s Blu-ray players provide the great home entertainment solution with better performance and high-definition format of screen display as well as provide superior playback of virtually all 5-inch silver discs. The players capable to deliver all the audio and video contents for home entertainment as well as some interactivity and Internet access.

Both Blu-ray models come with broad range of features, which including high-resolution sonic playback; DVD-Audio; SACD (Super Audio CD) playback and 3D capability via the firmware update as scheduled in the fall. The built-in BD-Live (Blu-ray Disc Live), and channel view functionality make the players to have web access features with 1GB of on-board memory for the DB-Live playback and a USB connector to extend the memory for media and BD-Live content.

Both universal Denon Blu-ray players allow users to access to the Internet, open new content and networking opportunities. Both models offer Netflix and YouTube streaming which are DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) 1.5-certified for audio/ video/ photo streaming with other DLNA certified devices across the network.

The players are compatible to read various of photos and videos format, such like DivX HD+, MP3, Wma playback via the recordable DVD/ CD or external memory. They has HDMI v1.4a output with 3D and CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) capability and 36-Bit deep color.

For the new DBP-2011UDCI model, it features the latest Anchor Bay Technologies decoding Engine and Scalar. It produces Burr-Brown 32-Bit, 192-KHz Audio DACs on all channels with high definition audio playback. This model can decode all the latest HD audio formats from Dolby and dts. It also includes an RS-232 port for third-party controllers.

Denon BDP-1611UD model is expected to be available in June 2010 with suggested retail price of $399, whereas the BDP-2011UDCI model will hit the market in this coming August 2010 for $799. Both models will then join the Denon’s available DBP-4010UDCI model in the company’s line of Blu-ray components.
