BlueMaemo can turn your Nokia N900 into PS3 controller
BlueMaemo is a remote controller program for the Maemo-powered devices. With BlueMaemo, users can turn their Maemo-powered device into a mixed Bluetooth keyboard and mouse device through the Bluetooth Human Interface Device (HID) profile.

Nokia N900 is a Maemo 5 powered mobile device, so BlueMaemo allows users to converts their Nokia N900 into a host of Bluetooth peripherals including a keyboard, mouse, media remote, presentation remote or even a PS3 controller.

Users can simple download the BlueMeamo emulator to get started. Once you have installed this application, it will be available in the application manager under the System head. You can only access to this application if you have the extras-devel repository enabled. If not, you can follow the instruction on the Maemo Central. With this BlueMaemo Bluetooth emulator, users can turn their Nokia N900 into a PS3 controller and use the touchscreen interface to navigate around the game or capture the input commands.
According to the sources, there are several steps to pair BlueMaemo with PS3.
1. On the PS3, navigate to the menu Setting -> Accessory Settings -> Manage Bluetooth Devices.
2. On the Nokia N900, make sure the bluetooth is on and open BlueMaemo application.
3. The PS3 will detect the Nokia N900, which has the Bluetooth enabled then show a connected message on the screen.
4. Users can now navigate around the menu and play the game via the Nokia N900 touch screen.
Note: BlueMaemo is currently in extra-devel repository, which means the application is still in alpha and unstable level and it may crash your device.
Below is the Maemo Italia video that shows how Nokia N900 acts as a PS3 controller and navigate around the menu. The video is in Italian version.
