Apple latest revolutionary iPad tablet device

On 27th January 2010, Apple Inc., had introduced the company first tablet device called as iPad. Apple iPad will be the best way to experience the web, email, photos and video with its half an inch thin device and it is approximate 1.5 pounds.

Apple iPad is thinner and lighter than any laptop and notebook in the market. It features a high-resolution Multi-Touch display as like iPhone. It has included 12 new applications that specially designed for iPad and more than 140,000 supported applications available on the App Store.

There are two models for this iPad device. Wi-Fi model and Wi-Fi + 3G model. iPad Wi-Fi model will be shipped in late March whereas its 3G model will be shipped in April 2010. The prices for the Wi-Fi model are $499 (16GB); $599 (32GB) and $699 (64GB) whereas Wi-Fi plus 3G model are $629 (16GB); $729 (32GB) and $829 (64GB).

Apple iPad has a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) of LED-backlit display with In-Plane-Switching (IPS) technology and covered by fingerprint-resistant oleo-phobic coating. It also supports for multiple languages and characters display. iPad has a built-in 16GB to 64GB of flash storage and it is built with a 1GHz Apple A4 custom-designed processor for high performance, low power system-on-a-chip.

It provides some accessibility such like VoiceOver screen reader, support for playback of closed-captioned content, full-screen zoom magnification. It supports for various audio formats such like AAC, protected AAC, MP3, MP3 VBR, Audible, Apple Lossless, AIFF and WAV.

It includes compass, microphone, built-in speakers, wireless in the form of 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3G and built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that able to supply up to 10 hours of active uses. Users can charging the battery via power adapter or USB connects to computer system.

It also has two built-in sensors, which are Accelerometer and Ambient Light Sensors. Accelerometer is a sensor of inclination, tilt or orientation in two or three dimensions as referenced from the acceleration of gravity; the Ambient Light Sensor can detect the amount light in the environment and are used by systems that need this information such like headlight control, interior lighting control and climate controls to imitate the sensitivity of human eyes over the visual spectral range.

2. iPad camera connection kit – Gives users two ways to import photos and videos from a digital camera or users can use the SD card reader to import photos and videos directly from the camera’s SD card.
