Recently, Verizon Wireless and ZTE USA have introduced the AD3700 mobile broadband USB modem with global connectivity capabilities. This new device comes to the market with the capability to connect to high speed networks in more than 175 destination around the world.

It supports Evolution-Data (EV-DO); Global System for Mobile communications (GSM); General Packet Radio Service (GPRS); Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution (EDGE) and High speed Packet Access (HSPA) wireless platforms.

The key features of this AD3700 are,
– powered by the VZAccess Manager software for easy connection management and automatic installation.
– A swivel hinge USB and USB 2.0 high speed interface.
– Compatible with Window vista/ XP/ 2000.
– Light weight (1.6 ounces) and measures 3.1 inches x 1.7 inches x 0.5 inches.
– It provides the flexibility and great options for the users to stay connected while traveling.
– Users can be simply activated the global feature on their Verison Wireless account and the device will automatically detects the local network, if the local network is supporting, then users are being connected to the fastest Internet speed connection wherever their go or travel to other places.

The price has been stated for $79.99 upon the signing of the two year contract agreement on a Mobile Broadband plan and after a $50.00 mail-in rebate. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card, they may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted. This device is now available in Verizon Wireless Communications stores since 14th August 2009.
