Viewsonic is the visual display maker that offers various cutting edge LCD monitors for business, personal, education and home use. Recently, the company has stepped into the Portable Media Player (PMP) market by introducing their latest product ~ VPD400 MovieBook.

It is another high definition PMP that support high definition movie playback. Viewsonic VPD400 MovieBook is featured with its record voice memo, touch screen interface, stereo speakers and the wide 4.3 inch of screen display with 800 x 480 of high resolution display.

The screen supports 160k colors. It also supports various media file formats such like Avi, Mkv, Mpg, Mov, Vob, Rm/Rmvb, H2.64, Mp3, Wma, Mav, Flac and Dts/Ac3. Supported image formats include Jpeg, Png, Bmp, Gif.


This device measures 113.5 x 74.5 x 13.8mm, approximate 143 grams. It has 8GB of internal memory storage, and it has the microSD slot that enable users to expandable the memory storage.

The battery is a 2500mAh unit can be last longer to six hours of video playback time and up to 12 hours for the audio playback. With this device, users can share photo albums, read digital books, listen to music and connection to TV and controlling via the remote control.
