At 14th September 2009, SanDisk Corporation was introduced its new line of Extreme Pro compact flash memory cards. They offering the memory card with the capacities from the range of 16GB to 64GB. This will be the new standard for fast, reliable, high capacity of the memory cards that specially designed for professional photographers.

This new line of memory cards feature SanDisk power core controller that optimizes card endurance and boots read/ write speed up to 90MB per second over a Ultra Direct Memory Access (UDMA) 6 bus. It has the 42-bit Engine Control Console (ECC) engine to maintain data integrity and extended card endurance through optimized wear leveling. It is also compatible with any digital cameras, card reader or other devices that support CompactFlash card.

This memory cards were developed with the flash controllers and memory chips together to enhance its performance, increased reliability with the most simple design. To get the maximum speed for the data transferring, it is good to use Sandisk’s ExpressCard adapter as USB.

It is specified as world-class durability, since the Extreme cards can be operated at extended temperatures ranging from minus 13 Fahrenheit (minus 25 Celsius) to 185 Fehrenheit (85 Celcius). SanDisk Extreme pro compact flash cards feature Room Temperature Vulcanization (RTV) silicone coating for added protection against moisture and humidity. Beside these, The cards are carry a lifetime limited warranty.

SanDisk Extreme Pro CompactFlash memory cards will be available in the market at selected retailers at this coming October 2009 with the price of $304, $518 and $812 for the models of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB respectively.
