National Geographic’s blue whale multimedia exhibition

From 10th to 13rd April 2009, Mid Valley was having the multimedia exhibition about the Big blue whale and allows public to Learn some fascinating facts about the blue whale.

This exhibition is presented by the National Geographic Channel and supported by Astro and Mid Valley Mega mall to encourage Malaysians to care for the blue whale and to raise awareness of marine conservation in Malaysia. The exhibition also features expert sharing session, conservation and education activities and multimedia exhibits on Samsung LCD TV sets at the East Atrium of the Mid Valley Mega mall.

The mission is to inspiring people to care about the planet and to increase and diffuse geographic knowledge while promoting the conservation of the world’s cultural, historical and natural resources.

Public are encouraged to join the scientists on an extraordinary mission to discover the unknown breeding and calving grounds of the blue whale, the largest animal on the planet. The mission includes finding out the gender of the big blue whale; how they mate and give birth; their courtship and what the song they sing.
