LG X-Note R590, the first Core i7 powered notebook

Yesterday, 26th October 2009, LG had announced their new series of notebook – X-NOTE R590. This is the LG first released notebook that powered by intel’s core i7 quad-core processor (820QM or 720QM), the first notebook to mount faster than desktop PC and deliver better performance for the gamers.

It allows users to enjoy the games that require high performance notebooks, gaming and the CPU is a specialist co-developed product from the company. It is featuring with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M Graphics Chipset with 1024MB of Video Random Access Memory (VRAM).

It has a 15.6 inch LED back-light monitor with a 1600 x 900 resolution display, 500GB of Hard Disk Drive, built-in 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi support and it comes with Windows 7 Home Premium and removable Optical Disc Drive (ODD).

There are two models available, which are 1.73GHz i7 and another 1.6GHz i7. Both models have same features, same weight (approximately 2.52 kg), except the slower model only consists of 2GB of RAM, smaller 320GB of hard disk drive and about the price of $1,683, while the faster version has 4GB of RAM, a 500GB of hard disc drive and about the price of $2,104.

This notebook gives the users to enjoy 3-D games equipped with industry-leading performance. LG now ships this series of notebooks outside of the US country, the prices and hardware configurations may change.
