LG GW620, the first Android smartphone
LG Electronics is a global leader and technology innovator in mobile communications. Today LG has announced its GW620, which is the first Google Android-powered smartphone. It is a slider device with a pull-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3-inch touch screen, a five megapixel camera, bluetooth and so on.
This smartphone also lives up with its consumer friendly design. The full QWERTY keyboard keypad to speed up your typing as well as for a fast mobile computing experience. It also manages to meet the needs of both types of users simultaneously.

Significantly, this model of smartphone has an operating system that was created from the ground up to take advantage of many mobile applications and services that developed by Google.
Some important features such like
1. 320 x 480 pixels (half-VGA) touch screen and display.
2. UMTS/ HSDPA 3G support (So far no bands listed yet).
3. QWERTY keyboard.
4. SyncML support.

In the LG’s press information for the GW620 does not include the exact specification and its features as well as the function but it is confirmed the GW620 will be supporting Google Android.
Pricing details have not been announced and this smartphone will be available in the selected European markets in the fourth quarter of year 2009. Hope that this will be the great smartphone that fully enhance users’ experiences, expectation and satisfaction.
