iLuv Creative Technology is dedicated to developing IT peripheral products, unique audio video products, accessories for portable media players and other entertainment devices. Yesterday, iLuv has started shipping its i1166 portable player after the announcement date few months ago.

iLuv i1166 is a nine-inch portable multimedia player with a custom interface to navigate and watch videos. Users can watch their favorite movie or TV show files on SD/MMC memory card and USB port as the alternative option to play raw videos. It has a notebook-style shell to accommodate both DVDs and all video capable iPods.

This player is designed to play video content of your iPod on the 9-inch digital TFT LCD wide-screen. You have full control of your iPod with user friendly graphic interface. It is fully convenient On-Screen Display (OSD), with its multiple subtitle and audio function. It also supports up to three power sources such like AC adapter, car adapter and through its built-in Li-Polymer rechargeable battery.


A remote control allows you to navigate the audio play from long distance and two 3.5mm stereo headphone jacks enable you to enjoy the music from the public places.

This player was expected to be available in the selected retail stores by mid-October 2009 with the price of $269.99.
