gScreen dual-display spacebook 2009

gScreen is an R&D company that established in year 2003. It is the company the focus on developing dual-screen laptops for filmmakers, photographer, video and graphics designers and CAD engineers. gScreen is planned to release its gScreen G400 spacebook 2009 in this coming December and it is probably target for the holiday sales.

This spacebook is featured with it two full screens, that will be designed as the tailored sliding mechanism to make it portable when carry on hand or put into the bag. The secondary display can be slipped out when needed.

This gScreen spacebook series is having the following specifications.
1. Two LED backlit display screens.
2. Windows 7/ Windows Vista/ Window XP pro. (Optional).
3. Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26-GHz.
4. Four GB of RAM. (2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM x 2)
5. 320GB of 7200-rpm Hard disk.
6. Selective graphics processors.
I) NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GT with 512MB dedicated memory or
II) NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700M Graphic with 512MB dedicated memory.
7. Nine cell battery.
8. IEEE 1394 1 graphics card output (15-pin, D-Sub), HDMI, Mic-in, Line-in, headphone, PCI express card.

This is the great dual-display spacebook. The complete package is approximately in 12 lbs of weights. The company is also planned to have the first units sold via Amazon. At this moment, the actual price for this unit of spacebook still not revealed but gScreen was reported, they will keep the price below $3000 per unit.
