I am back to work, after few days of short holidays to accompany my girl friend that came from Kuching. This was my second short holiday during this month and I was spending more time on traveling around the KL City, Petaling Jaya and visit most of the shopping complexes, mega mall, as well as some restaurants that I never been there before.
During this short holidays, I was having lunch and dinner with my girl friend at some restaurants. We went to Nol Boo Korean restaurant at Sunway Pyramid. Nol Boo serves a unique variety of Korean dishes. There are various choice of food set, you can enjoy the pleasure of four seasons with their special soybean paste pot stew, all natural kimchi, steamed egg custard, marinated crab, braised kaibi, grilled yellow corvina, assorted menuiere and Korean noodle with sauteed vegetables. The Korea’s flavor, “scorched rice” also served at this restaurant.







We were ordered a set meal (for two person), which includes kimchi Jjigae mixed soup, a bowl of steamed egg with rice, additional rice, three refill-able of size dished, two cups of green tea with cost RM40.
I have been long time not visited to Sunway Pyramid. This is the mall’s most easily recognized designs with its Egyptian-inspired Pyramid with a lion “Standing guard” at the entrance. The rest of the building is embellished in the monumental style. Sunway Pyramid is also one of the only shopping malls in Malaysia that have an indoor ice skating rink, near hundred of players like to play ice skating there, especially during the school holidays.

We also went to Teppanyaki at Mid valley. Teppanyaki is a style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle (teppan) to cook the food in front of customers and serves the hot food immediate after cook. Frequently the chef cook the food with the iron griddle located in the center of the diners’ table, where the customers are free seated around the table. Mostly people will take photos while the chef cook with various style and some unique ways to attract customer.

Each of the round table has one chef to cook and serve the food.

These were the food I ordered, which are Salmon fish and chicken Teppanyaki.

Our rices were come, with the sour vegetable as the appetite.

Once the food has been cooked, the chef will put it onto the empty plate. Photo above is Chicken Teppayaki, cost RM9.90.

It is a high class restaurant that serves ribs; seafood and steaks. That day, me, my girl friend and her two friends were ordered five plates of appetite and food to celebrate my girl friend’s birthday. We had ordered the complimentary baguettes with garlic butter spread, milk shake.


One plate of BBQ half chicken, it is basted in original sauce and charbroiled. Server with French fries and cole slaw.

Beef burger. Each Roma burger is 100% ground chuck, served with French fries, lettuce, tomato slices, red onion rings and a pickle. I am not able to eat beef, so had just to see them eat only.

The food were nice and delicious but the price was also great. RM140.00+ for the four person meals. A standard price for the high class restaurant.

Finally, the birthday ice-cream cake for my girl friend, wish her happy all the time. The ice-cream cake was from Baskin Robbins at Times Square. Baskin Robbins is the professional ice- cream franchise. It is known for its “31 flavors” slogan. The idea for having 31 flavors come Carson-Roberts advertising agency, along with the slogan “Count the Flavors. Where flavor counts”. 31 was also more than the 28 flavors then famously offered at Howard Johnson’s restaurants.
