There are many great and long awaited Hollywood movies will be shown on this year. Although there are hundred of movies produced by Hollywood, some of the movies are really worth to watch especially the comedy; action; adventure; sci-fi; fantastic movies.

Here are my selection of Hollywood movies for year 2009 with the short summery of the movies that I knew and watched the trailers, the movies really worth to watch.

1. The Pink Panther 2, comedy movie that acted by Steven Martin, Jean Reno. This is the great and funny movies in both part I and part II series. This movie was show at 06 February 2009, the story is about Steven Martin reprises his role as the bumbling Inspector Jacques Clouseau in the modern day farce. John Cleese will play chief inspector Dreyfus in the film. Molina and Rai have signed on as detectives and experts who join forces with Clouseau to catch the thief who has been stealing artifacts around the world.

2. Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li, action movie and the actress is Kristin Kreuk, who is the great actress on her previous series of Smallville. This movie was show at 27 February 2009, this new film is focused on the female fighter Chun Li and her journey for justice. As I read from the news about the street fighter main characters, Ryu and Ken will not be in this movie.

3. Watchmen, the adventure and mystery movie that acted by Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley. This suppose be a great and lot of mystery scenes while I watched the trailer from the Hollywood movie site. This movie will be on show at 06 March 2009 and the story is about a complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, “Watchmen” is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society and the Doomsday Clock, which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes.

4. Fast & Furious, action movie that acted by Vin Diesel, Paul Walker. This is a great news for those who like to watch the car racing movies. This movie will be on show at 03 April 2009 and the story is about Vin Diesel and Paul Walker re-team for the ultimate chapter of the franchise built on speed ~ fast and furious.

5. Dragonball Evolution, action and adventure movie that acted by Justin Chatwin, Hames Marsters. I believe this movie is taking part of the story from the Dragonball animation series. This movie will be on show at 08 April 2009 and the story is about the King Piccolo Saga is the penultimate sage from the anime Dragonball, it occurs after the Tien Shinhan saga and precedes the Piccolo Junior saga. It includes the battles between Goku and King Picolo’s sons, Goku’s first encounter with the Samurai warrior, Yajirobe, Goku’s quest to find the holy water and his final battle with young King Piccolo and the birth of Piccolo Junior.

6. X-men Origin: Wolverine, action and Sci-fi movie that acted by Hugh Jackman, kodi Smit-McPhee. This movie will be on show at 01 May 2009 and the story based on the several resources that include the Marvel Comics lore along with the more recent weapon X graphic novels by Frank Miller, “Wolverine” mixed action with an origin story about how Logan emerged from a barbaric experiment as an indestructible mutant with retractable razor-sharp claws.

Continue from my last post about the trip to Hong Kong. This post is about the secrets and facts in the Adventureland. Hong Kong Disneyland’s Adventureland was inspired by the areas of Africa, Polynesia and Southeast Asia, it is the largest Adventureland of all the magic kingdom parks around the world. Inside the Adventureland area, we can visit more adventure’s attraction such like;

1. Tarzan’s Island and the tree house.

2. The jungle river cruise attraction on the “Rivers of Adventures” around the Tarzan Island.

3. The attraction of Liki Tikis are inspired by the ones at Walt Disney World’s Adventureland and provides a chance to get wet and cool off in the Hong Kong heat.

4. The Tahitian Terrace restaurant was inspired by the restaurant of the same name that used to be at Disneyland in California.

5. Only one store in Hong Kong Disneyland’s Adventureland, which is Professor Porter’s Trading Post, named after Jane’s father from the Disney animated film Tarzan.

6. Another article from the Disneyland was said that the potential expansion includes a western themed area similar to Frontierland and Westernland at the Disney magic kingdom style theme parks. This will be built around the area where the Festival of the Lion King shows.

This is the wood-made small boat called as log rafts transport that carry 20 ~ 25 visitors to the Tarzan Island, which is located opposite the main shore of the Adventureland. It is an isolated island. All visitors were prepare for the jungle adventure, excited and fun while waiting the boat and cross over the river to the Tarzan Island.

The plate “KALA” is the name of the boat we used to cross over the river to the Tarzan Island. The large body of water that surrounds Tarzan Island is called the rivers of Adventure.

Here we arrived the Tarzan Island. This scenic island in the middle of the Rivers of Adventure and we could visit Tarzan’s tree house, climb, play and landscaped trails for children to have fun with their families.

This is the Tarzan’s tree house and it is almost 19 meters tall. This attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland is the second Disney tree house to feature the Tarzan theme.

This was the photo I taken at the corridor of the Tarzan’s tree house. This beautiful scenery can be seen after climbed to the top of the Tarzan’s tree house.

After the Tarzan’s island attraction, now we went to the next adventure at Jungle River Cruise. This was the entrance, and adventurers can prefer the language speaking tour during the river adventure. There are English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking entrance for the queue to the River Cruise.

About 12 ~ 15 minutes queue, eventually our cruise was come. We were queued up waiting to on board the river cruise.

The river cruise journeys around the Tarzan Island about 15 minutes. We could see the wild animals (fake elephants, crocodiles, snakes and much more); water fall.

There are more opportunities to get wet during the adventure with the river cruise, while the elephant and hippopotamus squirting water toward the boat.

A new scene not in other versions of the jungle river cruise features is the dramatic battle between fire gods and water gods; the scene uses fire and water effects on the store wall to catch visitors’ attention. This was the last adventure before the boat had reached the main shore. We were having a great adventure with the Jungle River Cruise at the adventureland.
