Nando’s peri peri is the home of Portuguese flame grilled peri peri chicken. Flame grilling the chicken means it loses lots of its fat. Nando’s peri peri menu provides a variety choice of healthy and delicious options which makes eating out the taste of the flame grilled chicken.

Last week, we were stayed back at office to rush for the projects and around 9pm we decided to order foods from the restaurant that provide delivery service. Instead of order the KCF; MacDonald all the time, we decided to try out the Nando’s peri peri. Frankly said, I never eat the flame grilled chicken from Nando’s restaurant before, so I agreed to order Nando’s hot peri peri of half flame grilled chicken with two regular sides, which are two coleslaws.

It took about 30 minutes for the delivery to our office. The flame grilled chicken was very delicious and good tasted.

The hot peri peri half flame grilled chicken look small but once I finished, I felt really full and not able to finish the last plate of the coleslaw and took it home as my supper.

The coleslaw really fresh and delicious, and these two regular sides are included in the set order of the hot peri peri half flame grilled chicken.

This was the hot peri peri half flame grilled chicken, really delicious when mixed up with the special sauce attached along with this package. That time, four of us was ordered different set of the per peri with two regular sides and it only cost RM60+, we used to claim from company as our over time compensation dinner.

Nando’s was established in year 1987 in South Africa, from the humble beginning, Nando’s restaurant has now opened in 34 countries on five continents around the world, launching in Washington DC in July 2008. Nando’s work to a set of values that is central to everything that serves their customer well with the unique recipe of the flame grilled chicken.

Let us discover the “Peri-Peri” from Nando’s. Indigenous Africans introduced the Portuguese to the African Bird’s Eye Chili. The locals called this fiery little chili Pili Pili, which means Pepper-Pepper in Swahili.

“Peri Peri” was make the pronouncing “Pili Pili”, so that is why the Peri Peri became. They immediately added it to their cooking and it soon became an integral part of their foods’ name and served to their customer many years ago. Peri-Peri chicken would be a more lucrative business in Rosettenville, a restaurant named Chickenland flourished. Then in year 1987, two businessmen – Robert and Fernando visited the restaurant and loved the taste of the Peri Peri flame grilled chicken, then they bought the restaurant and changed its name to be the first Nando’s restaurant. This is how actually the history of the Nando’s restaurant have been established and running its business since 21 years ago.
