Once a year, a month before the Hari raya Aidilfitri, our Muslim friends will have a Ramadan/ fasting month. This year, Ramadan was started at 1st of September, and another two weeks, which are 1st and 2nd of October we are going to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri and having two days public holiday at Malaysia.

Most of the time, during the fasting month, there are lot of Malay foods stalls that selling foods and beverages in my living area. There are variety of foods and beverages to choose from, and mostly they will start selling the foods from 4pm until 7.30pm.

It just like last year, all the foods stalls were selling foods along the walking path, and most the people will stop by and parked their cars beside the road to buy some foods and drinks from the foods stalls. There are Chicken rice, BBQ chicken, fast foods, drink and more, with the price around RM2.00 to RM4.50

Normally I buy foods from the Malay foods stalls only during weekends. Because I was working at KL during weekdays, when come back to my living place, those Malay foods stalls have already been closed. Last time, I bought a chicken rice, BBQ chicken, and special drink, the price for the BBQ chicken is RM2 each, slightly increased of the price.

I remember last year, during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri, me and other friends were searching and went to the open house at some ministry houses for the free lunch and meal, that was great to eat and celebrate with them, we even used to take away some foods for our dinner, due to save cost for the meal expenses. Haha.
